Quality Policy

The Laboratory of Food and Environmental Hygiene of Department " GF Ingrassia " committment  to consider the quality crucial in the management of the analysis is realized in the determination of the direction of pursuing the priority following objectives:

  • promote the implementation of the Quality System Laboratories , understood as the ability to adapt , in continuous , structures, work processes and organizational structure in accordance with the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025:2005 ;

  • improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization in compliance with the relevant legislation and good professional practice ;

  • promote better external visibility of their work , seeking greater efficiency in the reports and communications, measuring the satisfaction of the client / user;

  • provide its services through a diversified offer in relation to the needs of the users;

  • increase the number of customers through the quality of results and the improvement of the service offered, ensuring that the conditions of supply are given in the tariff and disclosed to the client;

  • ensure that the methods of testing and calibration is always performed in accordance with established methods and that the level of service to customers is guaranteed by the traceability of measurements , the qualification of operators and by comparison of results with those of other laboratories ;

  • increase the involvement of the staff putting it to the attention of the objectives of the Executive Board , so that they feel actively involved in promoting and involved in their implementation , through appropriate programs educational , training and updating technical and scientific ;

  • promote the continuous improvement of its activities through applied scientific research in accordance with the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025 and its changes and updates ;

  • put the best attention to technological development and optimization of the technologies employed enhancing the professionalism of all employees in accordance with the plans and operational programs and development;

  • provide the resources necessary for the implementation of the tasks of the Quality Management System and its continuous improvement;

  • ensure the independence of the line management of government laboratories ;

  • guarantee and protect Public Health and Food Safety through the adoption and monitoring of all technical and scientific documents and aimed at achieving the highest levels of quality and expertise .

In order to achieve and maintain a constant standard of quality, management has chosen to operate in accordance with national and international standards for testing laboratories and in compliance with the requirements set by the Accreditation Body , customer needs and binding legislation.

The Director has the primary responsibility for the realization of these objectives and proxy:
 Head for each Laboratory of the scientific responsibility for the approval of standard operating procedures
of quality system ;
 Responsible for the Quality of the preparation of the Quality Management System , as well as the authority to verify that the procedural system is adequate to the relevant regulations and that it is properly applied , the Quality Manager should report on the matter, and the Director shall prepare all necessary measures to make it clear to staff the Quality Policy and to raise awareness on the correct procedures use.
